Pricing:
We offer three tiers of pricing:
Wholehearted: support us to support others with a pay it forward ethos.
Riding the Waves: our standard pricing to cover the costs of running the session.
Ebb & Flow: funded places at no cost. Open to all, no questions asked and self directed.
Please choose what feels appropriate for your family in the moment. You can move between tiers as life ebbs and flows.
As a CIC we have funding for certain projects, to be able to offer free sessions and access to professionals, but many of our sessions and events covers the costs and salaries of our perinatal team. We are transparent in our funded projects and will continue to evaluate and reflect to ensure our delivery is committed to our ethos and mission statement.
We are transparent as a CIC and we value fair pay for experienced practitioners. Our policies in place ensure all our practitioners have up to date qualifications, first aid, DBS checked, safe guarding and Family by the Sea ethos at the heart.
Each of our specialised practitioners and peer supporters have boundaries in place in what they offer, signposting will be used and referrals on to other charities, organisations and healthcare providers.
Community is a huge ethos behind Family by the Sea; within this we respect personal boundaries for our practitioners. We are here to offer informed, consented support to parents and their families.
Practitioners personal life and family life is separate from this and there is a mutual respect of boundaries in place for all practitioners and service users. We do not use our personal experience in what we offer to parents, however our experience may be used on occasion, in context, and is what ignites our passion and empathy to support parents.
We adhere to a confidentiality code of conduct. Our safeguarding and safe working space supports our practitioners to consult within our team for debriefs, signposting and referrals to relevant external services and organisations.
We offer funding to train peer supporters and onward training progression to continue to create a positive support in our community. In order to support our community, we must be represented by the community- if you would like to offer support to families please get in touch.
Working in the perinatal field involves committed, continuous learning. All practitioners will use current, evidence based research. Onwards training, conferences and engagement with other charities and organisations will continue to improve our offerings and community.
All our sessions are inclusive and we can cater to additional needs, please let us know on the booking form if there is anything we can do to accommodate your needs.
Human needs are at the core of our sessions offering and we respect everyone's needs as an individual. We would like our community to respect everyone as an individual.
The term "family" is defined by you. We all have circles that we consider our family; we are here to support all of you. We strive to bring back the village mentality with family by the sea referring to all our community.
We strive to include diversity, equity, and inclusion practices at the centre of our daily work. We commit to using these practices for our business and our communities. Join us in embracing diversity, equity and inclusion for every person in our community. We see and validate all lived experiences. We strive for our team to represent our community with lived experience. We will strive to always review and evolve our offerings, listening to our families to ensure we are being held accountable to inclusivity.
